The axle should be in splines through that bearing, and shouldn''t be movin at all, IIRC. The worst part of the job is gettin the old studs outa the old bearing to put ''em in the new one.

The big inside ones that when leak axle fluid slings across inside of rear tires. The one side went fine. Stuck on the other side. Removed ratcheting nut and took out outer bearing, and loosened brake adjuster all the way.
